Some features of the game includes:

New video: Heileen 2 trailer

I just posted a new video on youtube for my upcoming game Heileen. It will be one of the so called "otome games". The main character is a girl, and she'll be able to fall in love with several male characters (well also a female one to be honest!).
I'm quite proud of the results so far, there are many cinematic scenes, good voices and what I believe (or hope) and interesting plot based on the Seven Virtues and the Deadly Sins, under the form of a deck of tarot cards that you find in the island.

More info coming soon...

Bionic Heart - released

bionic heart pc mac linux bionic heart pc mac linux

I’m very proud to announce that finally Bionic Heart is ready! You can click the images above to get directly to the game download page. It was a long journey to add all the voices but I’m sure that you’ll agree with me that adds a lot to the game’s atmosphere. I’m also very pleased about how the game turned out, since it has many plot twists, and a really dynamic structure.

The 24 endings you’ll have to unlock are quite different from each other.

why I hate micropricing

It seems a new trend in gaming industry. I literally HATE it. Both as player, and developer. Why? Because it's quite close to the line between "behaving honestly" and "CHEATING".
What I mean? Simple. When you buy a game, nowadays you pay a fixed amount, and pay for the FULL experience. Not a quarter. Not a level. And so on.
With this micropricing is going to be nuts. You want a new weapon? pay 40 game credits, that's just $0.4 ! yes, then to defeat next monster, pay $0.8 because you need the sword of doom.
And so on, and so on.
WTF ???
When I go to a movie theatre and I pay, I pay the price to see the movie! The full movie. When I download a song from itunes, I don't pay to see only the first 30 seconds!
The concept is wrong by itself, and this because, in the end, you spend MUCH MORE than what you would have paid for game at regular price. Isn't this cheating??
Looks like it to me.

Bionic Heart - Tom

In my adventure games I like to put a good variety of characters. I think putting a childish/immature/always joking character along the main one is a great combination to create some fun moments in a otherwise really dark game like Bionic Heart.
This is just a sequence and isn't even particularly funny but I'm sure you'll understand immediately what sort of person is Tom!

A grim future

In my upcoming game Bionic Heart the future is really grim. Sort of Blade-Runner style: always raining on most of the earth surface, nobody can eat meat anymore (as consequence of the climate and the toxic substances found on meat) and in general people live of illusions.
It's just a story - but what is scary, is that it really could happen soon, if people don't change their way of thinking and to interact with the environment.
Yes in case you've guessed, I'm vegetarian, and environmentalist too :)

I've just posted a new video of the game on youtube:

Computer Games forever!

First blog entry!
Just a brief introduction. I am a strong believer in freedom and possibility to express yourself without any constraints (within reason of course).
Because of this, and being a game developer, I'm fond of computer games. I don't think consoles (iPhone, XNA, etc) are a solution to creativity. They might be a good commercial channel, but I'm not really interested into that.
I'm interested in being able to make any game I want, for Pc, Mac and Linux.

What kind of games, you might be wondering? Well if you don't know my games I recommend you to check my websites:
